So glad I went. Got to see her for myself. Got first hand information. Got to help out. Got to connect her with family via my phone. Got to leave her with a few things she appreciating having. Bingo! The 4 hour trip was well worth it. Time is irrelevant when it comes to people we love and those kind of things.
Got home this afternoon just in time for a visit with my daughter and my grandson who are here from High River. Now there's something else that makes a day special.
Evening was spent visiting another friend and offering a helping hand to shift some furniture around and reorganize a room.
And right now, just finished getting all my stuff ready for a long busy day at the office tomorrow.
A beautiful fulfilling day and my heart is filled with gratitude.
That full day is making me feel like quite the layabout, sitting here in my pyjamas at 2 in the afternoon! However, I HAVE been outside numerous times already, weeding and watering and simply enjoying the flowers.
