Confession Time

Oh boy! I'm a little embarrassed to say this. But first let me start with the positive. I figured out how come I couldn't upload pictures to my blog and I did it all on my own. I told you I was persistent.

Now comes the embarrassing part. My 2nd monitor was plugged into my computer. Which means that when I went to "choose file" to upload, the screen I needed would open up on the 2nd monitor but I didn't have the monitor turned on.

Tonight I sat at my computer desk and turned on both my computer and the 2nd monitor and realized that the 135 times that I clicked on "choose file," the file was showing up on my  2nd monitor only I couldn't see it because it was shut off. Duh! Talk about an absent minded professor. Well, I sat here and had a good laugh at myself anyway.

So here are the pics I tried to post yesterday.

Transformation

Looks pretty sharp doesn't it? Love the bright color. It's called Tuscan Sun. Since the mornings have turned cold and I can barely sit out on my deck anymore I thought I'd brighten up the inside.

Got all the walls done and now there's all the trim to do. Doors, windows, moldings, casings. There's a lot of cutting and trimming in that room with two closet doors, two bedroom doors, two outside doors, a huge doorway into the living room and a window. Time consuming to say the least.

I went up and down the damn step ladder so many times that by the end of the evening I swore I belonged to the monkey family. This morning was more of the same. Andree helped me prime the bookshelf and door frame then off we went to do some cleaning for her sister at the house across the street from us.

Labor Day Weekend. Yup. It was labor day all weekend all right. Tomorrow I'm off to Peace River to put in a full eight hours of counselling. A different kind of work and a different kind of tired. It's all good!

  2. Ah! Good thing I wasn't home to get your email and try to figure it out, as I'd've been just as hornswoggled as you were!
